Bayer Leverkusen winger Nathan Tella has reflected on the team’s impressive victory against Wolfsburg.
Die Werkself defeated the visitors 2-0 to maintain their 10-point advantage over champions Bayer Munich.
Tella scored Leverkusen’s first goal of the game in the 37th minute.

It was his fifth goal in 16 league outings for the club this season.
Playmaker Florian Writz added the second goal four minutes from time.
“It was a mature performance from us. We knew that they would drop even further after the red card, so we had to play maturely and stay patient. It was about staying in control. Flo’s goal was then outstanding,” Tella said after the game.
From a mathematical standpoint, Leverkusen need to win six of the remaining nine league games to secure the first championship win of their 120-year-long history.
