Axel Tuanzebe will hold talks over his future before Manchester United fly out to Australia on July 7, with Aston Villa remaining keen on a permanent deal. The Old Trafford centre-back is in the dark as to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans for him next season, having thoroughly enjoyed an 18-month loan stint at Villa Park.

It is understood the newly-promoted Villans have told United they want to keep him in some capacity, although it could cost as much as £15m to seal a concrete stay. Tuanzebe is planing to go on United’s tour next month of Australia and the Far East and is seeking further reassurances from the Red Devils that he is still wanted.
The powerful 21-year-old is in the final year of his contract but the club also has the option of another 12 months, further leaving Tuanzebe in limbo. United insiders have stated boss Solskjaer is a fan of the youngster and may allow him to go back to Villa on a season-long loan and see how he fares in the Premier League.
