Tunisian Club EO Sidi Bouzid Unveil Nigeria Lookalike Jersey

Tunisian Ligue 2 outfit, L’Étoile Olympique de Sidi Bouzid (EO Sidi Bouzid) have unveiled their new kit ahead of the new season which has a sharp semblance with Nigeria national team jersey, reports Completesports.com.

The Super Eagles’ jersey, designed and made by Nike, which is a mixture of green, white and black colours was widely accepted by football fans across the world following its introduction ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

There were massive queues at several stores around London the day it was introduced into the market before the 2018 World Cup finals.

And now EO Sidi Bouzid have dumped their green stripes for a new pattern which has same semblance with the Nigeria jersey.

Founded in 1959, in the City of Sidi Bouzid, the club is currently campaigning in the Tunisian Ligue 2 (Group B).

This club they mad… They did not see any other jersey to choose from than this our own well… We lead others follow

  • Nigeria should adobt the design that was published by a nigerian i think 2 years ago. That design was more beutufull than the so called nikes. Our country is big enough to produce its jearsey i urge nigerians to go into the textile industry and develop a competition for these foreign companies we are a sport nation and our fellow west african countries are too. We must not depend on adidas or nykes to oroduce common jersey when we have millions of fashionists in the country. U see those plastic bottles u see in the wast bin in nigeris is wat these forign companies resycles and use to make jerseys so its not a big deal. Na patrotism carry their names to its hight of today. Lets wake up from our sleep the money dabgote or otedola donated to players who are already paid salarys and most of then are verry rich! Same money can be used to develope a textile industry that will provide jearseys for the eagles and all other sport in the country and also create job to few individuals thats how to help. not dashing rich people more money and lands. And same players we still have gots to disgrace the nation when they dont recieve a few amount of alowee. Italy. France. Brasile germany all won the world cup no money or land where shared apart from their salarys and congratulations. Just a piece of mind God bless naija

  • The SE jersey designer, the NFF and Nike could sue the club for theft of intellectual property (IP) and win.
