Turkish Super Lig outfit Galatasaray are desperate to sign Nigeria winger Samuel Kalu from Ligue 1 club Girondis Bordeaux this summer, reports Completesports.com.
According to Sabah Newspaper, manager Fathi Terim is keen to bring in a new winger after the club failed to extend Kalu’s international team-mate , Henry Onyekuru’s loan deal.
Kalu is said to be Galatasaray’s number one transfer target this summer.
The former Turkish League champions previously had a loan offer turned down by Bordeaux, even though the player is open to the idea.
Galatasaray officials are expected to meet their Bordeaux counterparts this week to sort the deal.
Kalu, who has a contract with Bordeaux until 2023, scored one goal and provided two assists in 22 appearances for the club last season.
