Turkish Club Rizespor Desperate To Sign Awaziem On Loan

Turkish Rizespor are desperate to sign Nigeria defender Chidozie Awaziem on a one-year loan deal from Portuguese giants Porto, reports Completesports.com.

According to rizedeyiz.com, Rizespor’s sports director Yilmaz Bal will meet with Porto officials this week to discuss the deal.

Awaziem is also said to be keen on the move after initially turning down overtures from the Turkish Super Lig outfit.

The versatile defender spent the second half of the 2018/19 season on loan at Rizespor.

Awaziem spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Spanish club Leganes.

The 23-year-old made 26 league appearances for Leganes without a goal to his name.

Awaziem joined Porto from Nigeria Professional Football League club El-Kanemi Warriors in 2014.

  • I am not comfortable with this move.
why not find a club in any of LALIGA,BUNDESLIGA,SERIE A,premier league,or LIGUE 1 and settle down there.even if is a mild-table club in that league,it will be better than jumping from one loan move to another.
you showed flashes of your qualities in LALIGA Last season, so i am sure a better club will come for you if you wait a little longer.
the transfer window is not even half way through and you are reversing your decision to join Rezespor as if it is 2 days to the end of the window.
wisen up bro. That will be a backward move in your career.
    NO D RUSH!!

Let’s not judge these players from what we read in the media. For all you know, he might be under immense pressure from his club Porto who seem to have a relationship with Rizespor.
