I like your model Gusau. You have indeed proven so far a reliable administrator. Can only wish your tenure well.
The sure road to success is early preparations backed by dependable leadership.

  • @Greenturf. Indeed Gusau has started very well and kudos to him for these changes he has introduced. However, he needs to do more. For example, the Guinea U23 National team has started training and have started the second phase of training. The match for the final qualifying round will take place in March 2023 and our team coach by Salisu Yusuf is yet to resume training. Please Gusau can you please àrrange for their early camping as you have done for Golden Eaglets. We can’t afford to miss the U23 Nation cup coming up. Please don’t allow Guinea U23 National team to eliminate us. God bless you Gusau and your board God bless Nigeria.

  • What I want to know is what is the NFF’s plans for the Super Falcons ahead of the World Cup in less than six months time.

Nigeria are in an impossible group. Vain soundbites from the erstwhile unimpressive Randy Waldrum is worth less than a handful of dust without solid preparations by the NFF.

So far they have been very quiet indeed. I haven’t read of any friendly matches or honoring any invitational tournaments.

In any event, I will encourage Waldrum or whoever is in charge to go for a 5-3-2 formation for the world cup. If key players are fit and flying, my ideal starting 11 is:

    Goalkeeper:

    – Chiamaka Nnadozie

    Centrebacks:

    – Osinachi Ohale
    – Ashleigh Plumptre
    – Blessing Tosin Demehin

    Wingbacks:

    – Michelle Alozie
    – Nicole Payne

    Defensive Midfielder:

    – Christie Ucheibe

    Attacking Midfielders:

    – Toni Payne
    – Rasheedat Ajibade

    Strikers:

    – Uchenna Kanu
    – Asisat Oshoala
