Lille head coach Davide Ancelotti has admitted that his side must work together to stop Victor Osimhen when they face Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League.
Lille will welcome the Turkish Super Lig champions to the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Tuesday night, with the Nigerian striker expected to spearhead the visitors’ attack.
Osimhen, widely regarded as one of the world’s leading forwards, poses a significant threat to Lille, and Ancelotti believes his team must be united defensively to limit his influence.

“We stop him with a collective effort. It doesn’t depend on one player; it always depends on the collective,” Ancelotti told a press conference.
“He’s a player who, at Napoli, almost won the Scudetto single-handedly.
“We know the potential he has, and we know we must always be vigilant when we attack and when we defend.”
The match will also see Osimhen return to familiar surroundings, having featured for Lille during the 2019/2020 campaign before completing a big-money transfer to Napoli.

When you consider the caliber of the players the guy is teaming with, it would be easier to cage him.
That is why somehow we wish him away from that club.
