Sparta Prague and not Slavia Prague. Why do complete sports make these avoidable mistakes always.

Might be the end of the road for Genk and Rangers. Would have wanted our 9ja players to qualify to the next round.

Maybe end of the road for Genk but surely not for Rangers, it’s an away match for Rangers and they got a valuable away goal playing with half of their regulars so I expect a whitewash of Malmo in Ibrox stadium next week.

COUNTDOWN TO WORLDCUP QUALIFIERS AND CAMEROON 22.

As our potential players begins their campaign for the new European football season and the preseason closing out. It’s time to begin to assess our potential SuperEagles 11 and replacements for the crucial assignments ahead.

In the attack Victor Osimhen has proven over the last few weeks that he’s the undisputed arrowhead of this present Eagles. Kelechi Iheanaco has been fully involved with Leicester over their last 3 games therefore, will be next in the pecking order IMHO. Onuachu scored in the Champions League however, that may be the end of the road for Genk and we are yet to see any concrete offer for the 30 plus goals striker. Either way he will be the next striker in the pecking order for me after Osimhen and Iheanacho. Moffi can be an option but lacks the experience of intense international fixtures. Simy and Sadiq are on the move but haven’t really been involved in any meaningful preseason games so far. Until the real business of the season begins my potential strikers will be Osimhen, Iheanacho, Onuachu and one of the rest.

Our midfield is undergoing a renaissance with Onyeka moving to the EPL and Etebo moving to Watford with Ndidi at Leicester, Iwobi at Everton makes most of our midfield options premier league players. Potentially, Oliseh and Ejaria on the brink. For now I will go for Ndidi, Onyeka, Etebo, Iwobi, and any two of Olise(Hopefully he plays for Nigeria) Ejaria, Marcus, Nwakali, Azeez, Onazi et all.

Our wingers are one of the best in any national team with Chukwueze, Kalu, Simon, Captain Musa, Onyekuru and possibly Noni Madueke another player Nigeria should get ASAP!! We should be well covered on the wings if all our hopefuls are fit and available.

The rearguard has seen the rise of Maduka Okoye becoming the number one choice goalie while Uzoho recently returning from injury provides the needed competition for two top goalkeepers. General Balogun and Ekong remain the first choice in Central defense. Awaziem, Omeruo, Ozonwanfor, Ajayi and the likes can fight for the remaining backup slot. On the full/wingback position: Zaidu, Aina, Ebuehi and Calvin Bassey should be the first names in that pecking order for those roles. #FLY LIKE AN EAGLE INTO FUTURE#

Bros ur analysis was top notch but dont forget chidera ejuke that guy is the best talented winger that can take any defender includin the likes of bonnucci chielini maguire ramos so in ur next players evaluation pls dont fail to onclude him or u will recieve 12 strokes of cain

      • I feel chidera should be in the super eagles team regularly but the coach doesn’t feel impressed by him. Hope he gets more chances to prove his worth.

      • Ayphillydegreat 3 years ago

Yeah men. Chidera Ejuke should be on the wingers list. That’s how competitive the squad is. You tend to forget certain names in the buildup to a major tournament. But the form of each player in the new season will determine who is who.

    • Akpoguma is also in the team. He should be mentioned given that he is one of the players playing in a top 5 league.
I also would desist from including the names of any player who is yet to complete his switch of allegiance to Nigeria. I really like Calvin bassey alot and hopes he chooses nigeria along with players like olise, noni, ejaria, lookman etc. But Time is short, so we shouldn’t waste any on players who are indecisive or whose position we dont yet know and focus on those we have.
If coach rohr can be brave and bold enough to try out certain players like yusuf, nwakali, obodo etc in midfield he might find that what he is looking for out there is right in here.

But one drunk ex-international claimed he cannot list 14 players in the current SE…LMAOooo. The extent some people can go just to ridicule themselves is mind blowing….LMAOooo

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

…The problem is that sometimes we cannot tell ourselves the truth. Personally I like Chidera Eze… he is a forceful player, just the sort of player one needs in tight and difficult games where stakes and tension are often fever-pitch high… I also believe Taiwo Awoniyi barring injuries will be a hit this season… so if all these guys start exploding who are we going to drop for who with oldguards still being accorded special previleges… to get our best out there playing we need to jettison sentiments and invite players based on the NOW performance only… What about Chuba Akpom if he finally joins Besiktas? I want forumites to also interrogate why just like we have read in various online news platform recently… why would Mikel Obi question Rohr’s tactics at Afcon 2019… and why does Balogun keep clashing with Rohr? Guys drop your contribution… this is not my news but confirmed feelers from team insiders…

  • @Nnamdi you really funny ooo…
@Ayphilidegreat where Akpoguma for you defense line…i think Onyinbo wall, Awaziem and Akpoguma in that order not forgetting old warhorse omeruo and Ajayi

    • Ayphillydegreat 3 years ago

Lol! Don’t mind me jare Bro. That’s how spoilt for choice we are now compared to after the 2014 Mundial. Akpoguma will surely have a role to play in this Eagles.

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Sadiq kicks off from where he stopped last season with a cool finish vs Real Betis. Just 10 mins gone at the moment. This boy should pls quit Segunda liga and move up to the Primera Liga. He has shown he’s way too good for 2nd div football. Abeg make Osimhen borrow am in agent biko.

    • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Gbosa…..the boy makes it goal number 2…and its just 30 mins into d game. 2 one on one with the GK…2 goals. Sabi striker.
