UCL: Struggling For Form –Kounde Speaks Ahead Shakhtar Donetsk Vs Barca

Barcelona defender Jules Kounde has disclosed that the team is not at their best facing Champions League opponents Shakhtar Donetsk tonight.

Barca meet Shakhtar after losing at home to Real Madrid and battling to a 1-0 win at Real Sociedad.

Kounde in a chat with Marca said that the team has struggled to win games in their last few matches.

“The locker room is good. They are aware that there are things to improve. The last two games leave us with mixed feelings that are a bit sad, we know that we have to improve. We want to win tomorrow and give our best version.

“No doubts. We all saw it. We played a game (at La Real) where we were not comfortable, but doubts, no. We are positive. We have to continue working as we do.

“Throughout the season there are games where you do not feel well, you do not play well but you have to get the three points and show that the team knows how to suffer and respond to difficulty.

“I agree in the sense that throughout the season there are games in which you don’t play well or you have a bad feeling and you get the three points.

“The same thing happens again throughout the season. The important thing is to recognise and see where point you can improve and continue improving and working together.”
