High Profile Friendlies Against Portugal, Poland
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play high-profile international friendlies against Poland and Portugal during the June 2026 FIFA window.

These fixtures are organized to keep the Nigerian squad competitive following the international break. For Portugal, the match in June will act as their final warm-up fixture before they head to North America for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Nigeria, three-time African champions, will miss the FIFA World Cup for the second consecutive edition, following their absence from the 2022 tournament in Qatar.
The Cup holders, Super Eagles, are also scheduled to defend their crown at this year’s Unity Cup Tournament in London, where they will take on Jamaica in the final of the competition on Saturday.
