Belgium secured their place in the Nations League final four with a 4-2 win against Denmark on Wednesday in League A Group 2.
Leicester’s Youri Tielemans opened the scoring after just three minutes with a drilled finish.
Jonas Wind headed in an equaliser for Denmark on 17 minutes but Lukaku turned in Kevin de Bruyne’s pass to make it 2-1 in the 56th minute before heading home a third on 70 minutes.
A Nacer Chadli own goal reduced the deficit to bring score to 3-2 in the 87th minute but De Bruyne swept in a fourth for Belgium a minute later.
At Wembley stadium, England thrashed 10-man Iceland 4-0 which was bot enough to earn them a place in the final four.
A brace from Phil Foden (80th, 84th minutes) and goals from Declan Rice (20th minute) and Mason Mount (24th minute) secured the comfortable win for England.
With England leading 2-0 Iceland were reduced to 10 men following Birkir Saevarsson in the 54th minute.
Belgium’s victory against Denmark saw them top the group on 15 points and progress into the final four.
Denmark finished second on 10 points, England in third also on 10 points and Iceland bottom with no points.
Italy defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 in League A Group I to advance into the final four.
Goals in each half from Andrea Belotti on 22 minutes and Domenico Berarchi in the 68th minute secured the win for the Italians.
Also in the group, Netherlands came from a goal down to beat Poland 2-1 away.
Kamil Jozwiak opened the scoring on 6th minute Memphis Depay equalised for Netherlands from the penalty spot on 77 minutes.
And in the 84th minute Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum scored the winner.
After the end of the group games Italy emerged top on 12 points while Netherlands are second on 11 points.
The four teams that have qualified for the final four are France, Spain and Italy which will take place in October 2021 in Italy.
In some other fixtures on Wednesday Austria and Norway played 1-1, Northern Ireland and Romania ended 1-1, Czech Republic pipped Slovakia 2-0, Scotland lost 1-0 at Israel and Serbia thrashed Russia 5-0.
