Talks are underway between Manchester United and the agent of Juventus forward Paulo Dybala which could see Romelu Lukaku join the Italians. Dybala’s agent, his brother, is in England for discussions with the club to see if the player wants to join the Old Trafford outfit in a deal which would see Lukaku heading in the other direction.

Juventus appear to have a clear field when it comes to the Belgian striker as Inter Milan failed with a £54million offer and they say they will not go any higher. “We made a strong offer, one that is valid and suited to the transfer value of the player and we were unable to conclude a deal,” Inter’s chief executive, Beppe Marotta, told Sky Sport Italia.
Juve are said to have offered Dybala plus Mario Mandzukic and £10million in exchange for Lukaku, with Maurizio Sarri keen to work with the Belgian in Turin but there is plenty of talking to do as Dybala is thought to prefer to stay with the Old Lady for a further season.
