Utaka Backs Rohr To Succeed With Super Eagles

Utaka Backs Rohr To Succeed With Super Eagles

Former Nigeria international John Utaka has expressed confidence that Gernot Rohr will succeed with the Super Eagles but must be given the necessary support.

Rohr’s achievement so far with the Eagles is a third place finish at last year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and qualification to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The German coach recently accepted to extend his contract with the Nigeria Football Federation.

And Utaka, 38, believes Rohr’s good relationship with the Super Eagles players will lead to his success with the team.

“The boys know him more than the previous person, so give him that chance and support just like the little they did with Bonfere Jo at the Olympics,” the 2002 and 2010 World Cup star told brila.net.

“He might do better than what he has done but I think, he will do a good job.”

Utaka, alongside former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, helped Montpellier win the 2011/2012 Ligue 1 title, the first in the club’s history.

He was also an FA Cup winner with Portsmouth in 2008, providing the assist for Nwankwo Kanu who scored the only goal in the 1-0 win against Cardiff City.

  • @sean the problem is nff they dont want to spend the money. There are better coaches.

  • @aokfield am not only talking, am saying the truth. am not blind like you.

    • Oakfield 4 years ago

Lol…Correction:it’s Oakfield not aokfield. I agree, I’m blind but as an unblind man that can see very well, pls, give us a list of potential replacements for rohr with records that surpass his by at least 40 percent . We, the very blind ones are waiting for the list.

Hehehehehe…..Una wan use catapult kill elephant…LMAO. You guyz are giving him one task too many. Members of Lai Utd usually don’t have the intellect to reason that deep…abi you no see as in Agbada don hook for barb wire…???? LMAO

  • Rijkard. Vangal. Pochetino. Renard. Benitez. are world class If nff can not employ any of these coaches is better they give the job to our local coaches. Amunike. Finidi. Yobo shorumu . They can do the job better than GR and his group. I know what am saying. am not a coach but i know football very well.

You should be ashamed of yourself, you’re such a daft idiot! So, these people you’ve mentioned including the guy with no coaching experience and certificate are better than rohr???? Loool… Its clear U have a big problem but u dont know.

    • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

Hahahaha…..Morrocco’s World class Herve Renhard was earning 80k Euros, was knocked out by Benin Republic in AFCON R16…..Defending champions Cameroon’s World Class Seedorf (assisted by Patrick Kluivert) was earning 96k Euros but was eliminated by “Clueless Failure” Rohr in R16…….Egypt’s World class Javier Aguirre was earning 108k Euros, he didn’t even reach AFCON Q/finals. The small 50k Euros Rohr is earning NFF cant pay regularly, sometimes owing him up to 3 months sef…..yet you want World Class Coaches who earn nothing less than 1m Euros monthly.

Keep dreaming ehn. We will wake you up after 2022 World cup…!!! Nor be only Finidi and Yobo, pls add Taye Taiwo and John Utaka in your list of coaches who are better than Rohr…LMAO

    • you re bunch of disappointed

    • Oga get out you don’t know ball@stan

Your comments show that you don’t know football at all.

  • @Stan I know that there are good coaches out there but you don’t just jump up from your house and start looking for a world class coach….You need time and serious work to get a good coach….Rhor will remain as SE coach till after 2022 world by then your NFF can take from now till then to do a proper job and look for a world class coach…..But for now the best alternative is Rhor and we the fans want him to continue at least till 2022….PLEASE YOU PEOPLE SHOULD ALLOW THE FOOD RHOR IS COOKING GET READY FIRST BEFORE YOU GUYS JUDGE HIM

@Stan and every other person that thinks like him, I’ll urge you all to stop thinking like kids/football novice (that you are though).

Before you mention names like Pochettino, Van gaal, Benitez et Al, Have you ever sat down and ask yourself this questions:

    – Will Benitez ever agree to come coach and African country?? A country like Nigeria where he will be asked to divide his salary and share with some NFF Officials?? Meanwhile, he’s presently the Coach of A World No.1 team – Belgium with well organized FA that doesn’t owe him or share his salary with him. So you think he will leave this Group and come to your well organized and corrupt free Nigeria…Lol. Better wake up and Thank God for Rohr every time you wake up.

    – Will POCHETTINO ever come to coach an African Country?? Will he ever agree to Coach a country like Nigeria?

Some those understand something again; Not every Coach you see are National team coaches. Some Coaches prefer to Coach Clubs where they play Week-in week out than Country where you only wait for International Break and tournament every 2-4 years. Also, from my observation…only those Coaches from Europe that want to experiment there Coaching abilities do come to Africa to coach not Established Coaches like Van Gaal, Benitez, Wenger. If any African Country really want this type of Coaches, that means that Country have to raise there standard very high and very organized and must have the talents on ground like Nigeria does. But the Organization part, Zero! Shey na Pochettino go dey travel from Kano to Ondo to Enugu to watch Yeye NPFL…lmao!

Abeg you guys should wake up! As for the Local coaches, none of them is up to Rohr’s standard. So just forget those ones for now. Only Amuneke, I can say has the Technical ability to complement Rohr..Note: I said “To Complement” that means he can be his Assistant. But in terms of Team Management and commiting players to be Serious with the National team, Only Rohr has that ability. All those Indigenous coaches will just scatter everything. You’ll hear things like Finidi not picking ARIBO(A boy bred Abroad) for not greeting him properly in the Camp. Guys wake up abeg and let’s all throw our weight behind Rohr till 2022 at least before we raise this issue again. Peace

    #SoarSuperEagles

God bless you man! It’s very obvious when people with well functioning brain make comments. You just tutored @Stan,@Omo9ja @De star and their likes. I know all these brats are making noise because Rohr has been hindering their evil corrupt act, those guys should just keep hugging transformer till maybe after 2022 at least.
Rohr must continue, Real Super eagles fans are not allergic to good things( Rohr) like those backward thinkers.

@Oakfield , please, this forum should be for the matured and civilized ones , there are better and decent  way to express your opinion in a civilized manner than insulting your fellow members as referring to @Stan as “Idiot “ for expressing his own opinion where you are at the liberty to either accept or counter his opinion with a convincing argument .

Please, Learn from the likes of @Deo who always made his points in support of oga Rohr devoid of insults and derogatory words , can you read @Akp matured response to @Stan compare to yours ? Please read again @Namidi civilized contribution in his choice for Rohr to raise his game without insulting those of you who believe he is a super coach ;  If ego will not allow you to learn from how the likes of @Larry@Goal & co comport themselves, without raw gutter words that should be expected from the touts in the motor park or primary school pupils,  at least you can adjust yourself with those who shares the same ideology with you .

I can remember , we have gone through this embarrassing route before where some of us have to bend low to that unfortunate level of calling ourselves names that can only come from dirty minds , we apologized to one another in remorse and I was even ashamed  myself of going so low to that unfortunate level until, a member came to admonished us , everyone of us felt bad , @Dr Drey & others except you with your usual beleaguering posture , to take us back to Egypt again.

We are all matured  Nigerians , we should comport ourselves accordingly. Nobody hates Rohr , but we are of the opinion, we cannot be celebrating average achievement as crashing out in the 1st round WC , being a bronze medallist in Afcon, and to move forward, if Rohr is to continue, there are conditions in his contract that needs to be corrected , and that , there should never be a ridiculous salary increment like $95%  reward for average achievement as done 2 years ago ; those new conditions Rohr has accepted and NFF too has realized, Nigerians would not take such corrupt act from them any more ( if  our arguments are not making sense , I don’t think a gun was put on the head of oga Rohr before he accepted those new clauses ).

Maximum respect to everyone in the loop

  • Pompei 4 years ago

Chairmanfemi, nice comment about Aribo…..that is how our local coaches allow their pride and ego to get in the way of doing their jobs. LMAO!
I wonder how team selection is based on which player dobales for you when they see you, or which player calls you SIR or OGA! Not to even mention the EGUNJE expectations. Aribo, and other foreign born players, would never think to grease the palms of anybody in camp, because they were brought up in a different environment.
To let Rohr go now would be catastrophic indeed. All the good work done will be quickly undone.
Yes, I also like the idea of hiring a world class coach to replace Rohr…..emphasis on REPLACE ROHR, after Qatar 2022. However, as some forumites have pointed out, we need to be realistic. A parent that can only afford to feed his hungry pikin with garri and proundnut soaked in iced water, not even regularly but maybe once a day. Can you honestly suggest that that parent should switch to feeding the kid with fried rice and chicken? NFF can barely pay Rohr now with his small salary, how will they pay a world class coach? Which world class coach will tolerate being owed even one month’s salary, talk less of three months? Hahahahaha!

    • Chairmanfemi 4 years ago

You made it better @Pompei. The last part where you used that analogy still making me laugh…lol! Simple truth. We all want World class coach for the Super Eagles but is it with this way the NFF are treating Rohr that they will treat World class coaches and they will last up to a month??? Yeye

  • De Star 4 years ago

@ChairmanFemi, I will pitch my tent with your opinion on the reason no responsible and good coach would ever accept job offer from NFF, except those that would agreed to divide their salaries into two , so when the pro Rohr were saying National team was so unattractive four years ago to any coach except Rohr  , we strongly disagreed , that , as at the time Rohr was employed, his 3 jobs failure couldn’t have made him qualified, but for corruption to make business with oga Rohr.

That  is why NFF are always out to frustrate any Nigerians potential good coaches and they would do everything to make them fail as , they cannot do business with them , without being exposed , but they called us liars , but now that Erikkson granted interview last week on why he refused offer to coach S/E in 2010 , which was due to the 50/50 sharing formula , no word against this from both past and present members in NFF ( and our brothers who are calling us names didn’t apologize to us ) .

So my brother, our Nigerian coaches are not bad , rather it is the corrupt system that are killing their potential . when Keshi broke Century record in Togo he was sack , till date no coach has ever equal that record , Amunike broke 4 decades record with the tiny Tanzania, he was sacked for not performing magic with players that none of them were born when last their country qualified for Afcon ; Siasia would do his job with backlog unpaid salary, would go begging other nations for money to transport  his players to international tournament, Oliseh was on the job he was frustrated out having to be funding his team , assistants from his pocket with backlog of unpaid salary; if you  don’t package your product very well, no one would patronize you ( that is why they faced all manners of challenging outside the country)

Keshi won Afcon , no 1% salary increment of job well done and Rohr was ridiculously rewarded 95% salary increment for crashing out in WC 1st round as ordinary coach and winning shameful bronze . No one needs to tell us that the purported 95% salary increment is not going to Rohr’s pocket but to the pocket of his business partners and unfortunately, it is one the reasons the 2nd contract of Rohr was faulted and never wanted such corrupt act to repeat itself.

If Nigeria did not kill corruption and inferiority complex , the two nemesis will  burry Nigeria , that is a basic fact

    • Chairmanfemi 4 years ago

Spot on @DeStar. Though there are some parts I disagree with though. Especially the parts where you said Oliseh was funding the team and also paying his assistants…hmmm. Keshi’s part too about Salary increment?? Siasia is a good coach with great technical abilities but even FIFA has exposed how corrupt he is too like Salisu(common thing with our Indigenous coaches collecting Egunje from players)

So I will leave you to @Dr. Drey and @BigD; the Statistics Masters..lol to counter your claims

    • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

Hahahaha….Oh my God…Honestly I’m beginning to feel ashamed of members of Lai Utd, because they have run out of ideas and now resorting to the most imbecilic assertions I’ve heard in decades. If leading a club like Bordeaux to a European cup final (ahead of Big teams like Man U, Liverpool, Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio, Lyon, Monaco, Barcelona, rsenal, Chelsea, Juve, Porto, Weder Bremen), winning the Swiss cup with Young Boys FC and leading Gabon undefeated to their best ever AFCON performance and placing in history does not qualify Rohr….if over 20years of coaching in Europe and Africa does not qualify Rohr to be SE coach…is it Oliseh’s 1 season in Belgium 3rd division and half a season in Dutch 2nd division that qualified/qualifies him or Siasia’s relegation of Bayelsa Utd and JUTH FC and near relegation of Heartland FC or Amunike’s winning U17 but not qualifying for U20 AFCON and leading Tanzania to their worst AFCON performance ever (couldn’t even draw Kenya..infact he only won 2 matches all through his tenure in Tanzania) or Finidi’s 3 months internship as PEC Zwolle’s U19 coach or Yobo’s ZERO coaching experience, training or license records that qualifies them….??? LMAO…..Hahahaha…Pls who knows how to laugh in pidgin English here….bcos I really need to laugh in a language that befits this kind of reasoning….LMAO.

So corruption was the reason why Rohr got the job…so what was the reason for not qualifying for 3 out of 4 AFCONs before this incompetent Rohr was hired and has since been qualifying us for tournaments even with games to spare…LMAO??? Pls NFF should keep employing incompetent people like Rohr Biko….we will rather have incompetent people who are performing and meeting their targets than World class African Guadiolas who will turn us to Somalia and Malawi who always watch AFCON from home and only come out to participate once in a blue moon…Lolz. Competent people made out national team so bad that A WHOLE ONAZI (one of our best and most consistent player before Rohr came) could not sign for ORDINARY BIRMINGHAM CITY in the English 2nd division. Today, under the guidance and tutelage of this useless failure and the impact the progress of our national has had on their careers, our players are now be dragged by league winners in the top 5 leagues in Europe.

Even if NFF were to do business with Rohr is it the tashiri $30000k (which was almost the same with what Oliseh and Siasia earned and less than what Keshi earned) which they paid him when he started that will share…When FIFA subventions to NFF alone is almost $10m….??? LMAO. So if they were sharing his salary with him, how come the are reluctant to increase it this time around, knowing they will also get an increase in their share. But I thought Lairs like you claimed Rohr was getting 4 times what our local coaches got and gets preferential treatment….LMAO. So how come NFF are sharing his salary yet it is still four times what the African Guadiolas were earning and how does that make it a preferential treatment…..??? LMAO. My CSN people make Una come see something abeg….Lairs are beginning to get confused by their own lies o…..LMAO.

You know when someone tells too much lies, he wouldn’t know when he will contradict himself and humiliate himself. @Destar @Over-the-bar @ Larry and their gang have told so many lies to humiliate Rohr that it is they who are now getting humiliated with each passing day…their own lies and concocted fallacies are beginning to confuse them….hihihihihi….KARMA IS A DAMN BITCH…LMAO

The same harsh environments for which they are making excuses for their massively incompetent humongously overrated African Guadiolas is the same environment this “failure” called Rohr has been working and leading us higher and better from the no 16 in Africa where their incompetent Guadiolas dumped us….if not for the diplomatic, interpersonal and managerial ability of this man only God knows where SE would have been at the moment. The team would have been scattered by infighting, We definitely would not have qualified for 2018WC with another local coach and probably would have used calculators to Qualify for 2019 AFCON (if at all we qualied) and got knocked out in our 5th match, the qfinals (which used to be the Semifinal of 16 team AFCON) which is usually the limit for them save for 2013 when God himself came down from heaven and took control of our team in the 3 matches at the knockout stage. I can’t believe 4 years has passed without any scandals in this our SE that is usually a house of commotion under our world class “own”

Lai Utd are so envious of Rohr’s continual progress as if he was the one that stopped their African Guadiolas from including performance related bonuses/increases clauses in their own contracts. If Keshi didn’t get 1% increase, whose headache is it…??? Who asked him not to include it in his contract agreement with his employers…??? What naievity…! it shows he never believed he could win AFCON….he just stumbled on it, otherwise, if you know you are going to meet a target, why won’t you tell your bosses that hey, Una must roja me if I don this and that o. He had an opportunity to renegotiate another contract after being pleaded with to return, who held his mouth from negotiating and agreeing even a 1000% increase…??? The other ones didn’t even smell any increment since they FAILED WOEFULLY…LMAO, so there’s nothing to say about those ones. Even Paul Le Guen (who won 6 trophies in 3 seasons as Lyon Coach) saw the targets NFF set for him and told Pinnick to go to blazes for ever thinking a team ranked 70th in the world would qualify for WC and 16th in Africa get to the semis of a 24team AFCON in its first attempt…but Wiseman Rohr said ok, even though it’s a tall order, I’ll do it…BUT if I do this, you must reward me with that, if I do that, you must reward me with this…..that is what is pouring pepper in the eyes of envious lairs….LMAO. If they like they shouldn’t tell their beloved son Yobo to quickly call Pinnick to a round table and NEGOTIATE A CONTRACT AND COMPREHENSIVE JOB DESCRIPTION for his “chuachua boy-boy” gotten position as Asst Manager of the SE. When the die is cast, it’s this same racists who will blame the white man for whatever predicament Yobo finds himself.

It’s so ironic that it’s the same people who are claiming they want to kill corruption that come here to tell lies, slander and spread nepotism. it’s the same ones that encourage mature arguements that tell stories cooked up from god-knows where, stories that they can’t back up with any evidence. Sometimes I just assume their brains are not aware of what their fingers were typing whenever they type their lies, because even a man whose brain was replaced with that of a donkey wouldn’t utter some of the things we see “so-called” nation builders utter in this forum.

With the amount of lies they’ve told us here, I’m even beginning to doubt their phantom stories about Lufthansa…LMAO. Bcos if they where doing the right things, contributing positively and moving Oga Arumemi-Ikhide’s business forward in the first instance, why would Lufthansa come into the picture….LMAO. With people who lie this much and say things even they cannot substantiate or back up with evidence swarming around any business, that business is headed for the pits. If there are no cracks in a wall, the lizard will never find a place to hide.

For all these people that are saying that they cannot celebrate average achievement like knocking out of first round of WC and bronze in AFCON, what if u fire ROHR and we were not even able to qualify for the above mentioned tournaments?
Do u think qualifying for WC is an easy thing?
Prior to having ROHR as SE coach, I no longer watch Nigeria matches again because of their performance and their results and here we are playing against Ukraine and BRAZIL unbeaten yet we re not thankful for that.

I hope all these people that are glamouring for rohr’s removal will not hide their faces or complain when we start using calculators to calculate our chances of qualification for a tournament

Let’s not forget how this WC qualifications this year is structured, the best will play against the best, at the moment I think it is only rohr that can give us the desired results.

Please, we should all realize that we are all Nigerians and we all want SE to be as great as we can wish, Then why are we abusing ourselves, just because we have different views on the routes to navigate our collective success. The pro and anti Rohr groups all have some valid points , let’s try and accommodate each others divergent views, we all want SE to succeed,we are not in a debate and no prize for anyone with the most solid argument.let’s all be tolerant and stop abusing ourselves.

  • The people of Montpellier, a city in southern France with a population of roughly two hundred and sixty thousand could hardly hide their joy as their club Montpellier HSC became the champions of France for the 2011-12 season; the first time in their history.

Instrumental to this success were the contributions of our very own John Utaka whose 2 goals in their last game of the season against Auxerre away on 20 May 2012 sent fans at the stadium into ecstasy.

Before then, Utaka – who has recently thrown his support behind Gernot Rohr to excel as Super Eagles gaffer according to the article above – had a forgettable 4 years in the English Premer League where he scored a pitiful 1 goal per 9 games and was sharply criticised by the English press for his rumoured weekly wages of £80,000 per week (which they pointed out as part of the reasons for the South Coast club’s financial troubles).

However, returning to France when he did (in 2011) brought instant success. His goals and mesmeric all round contributions helped Montpellier win the league (ahead of PSG) and earned a brief recall to the Super Eagles.

In fact, Utaka had been regular in the Super Eagles when he playing in France between 2002 and 2007.

Arguably, one of his highest points for Nigeria was when he scored the winning goal that knocked perennial foes Cameroun out of the African Cup of Nations at the quarter-final stage in the 2004 edition.

That goal was particularly sweet considering the harm The Indomitable Lions of Cameroun have inflicted on the Super Eagles over the years in that tournament.

So, When Utaka received the ball from Kanu in the midfield and left the entire Cameroun defence for dead before coolly stroking home to finish off the Indomitable Lions – in the 2004 African Cup of Nations quarter-final encounter – he became very close to being a national hero. In fact, if he was a (soccer) god, some fans would probably have made him their lord and personal saviour. The match ended: Nigeria 2:1 Cameroun.

Back to the article above, Utaka, 38 years old, said of Rohr: “He might do better than what he has done but I think, he will do a good job.” End of quote.

That is a view shared by a large section of Super Eagles supporters who are basking in the feel-good factor that the German tactician has brought back to the national team and the Super Eagles’ continued upward trajectory in the FIFA rankings since 2016.

Deo, I always enjoy reading your posts.

    • Oakfield 4 years ago

You eh!!!! lol…. Already liked it

    • Pompei 4 years ago

      Nice article, Deo.
I still recall how the English fans back then gave him the name USELESS UTAKA. All it took to transform USELESS to CHAMPION was a move to France.
The English can be terrible when it comes to destructive criticism. Especially when the perceive a foreign born talent to be in competition with their local talents! Recently, there was an article claiming that Ahmed Musa is one of the worst signings in the premier league ever. The same Ahmed Musa that scored twice against Barcelona at the Nou camp? If it was an English boy that achieved that feat, they would have elevated him into the heavens itself. But Musa’s achievement was quickly swept under the rug. Only his shortcomings are remembered. That is the English way, I’m afraid!
As a foreigner, to get respect and love from English fans, you must have produced OUT OF THIS WORLD performances, time and time again. This is why the likes of Okocha, Kanu, Martins, etc are legends in England today. If you are not super spectacular, they will only remember the days when you fell short.
Utaka’s opinion is shared by many. Rohr gets the job done. With Rohr, Nigerians now believe we have a FIGHTING CHANCE, against anybody, anywhere. Once upon a time, a world cup qualifying group with Cameroun and Algeria aould have sent SE fans into uncontrolled panic. With Rohr, we qualified for the mundial with a game to spare!
Fans are now so confident in the team. And it’s a young team. A team that should be around for another decade. If we keep Rohr and this team together, it is very likely that they will win Afcon 2021. I also think they are quite capable of making a big splash in Qatar 2022.

  • All haters of OGA GERNOT ROHR are liable to die young….. Y bcos;
as they are here in CSF wailing, crying, weeping and gnarshing their teeth for OGA to be sacked; NFF, well-thinking and reasoning pple, pple that love good things in life and pple that have future (i.e, they believe one day they will also asurb a throne and pple will also pay them back) are planing for OGA’s “NEXT LEVEL PROGRAMME”……

What’s there to be said that hasn’t been said.
No matter our wants and desires we should all remember where we were before we got here.
A little humility and patience does no harm. If we look at this constructively and with all good conscience; Rohr has done considerably well. He can only get better.
His team is far from the finished good, and his technique needs tweaking in some instance ; but which top coach doesn’t need improvement. There are so much one can win or get right but as long as you are on that path to right, then it is right. The Super Eagles under Rohr is on the right path.

It is going to be foolhardy to just let go of him or undermine him just because he hasn’t satisfied some wishes. Even wishes time to be made whole. Give Rohr his respect, give Rohr his time. He deserves it.

We shouldn’t forget that it took Westerhof from the disaster of failing to qualify us for the Italian 90 ,after he was brought in when we were almost there, to the success he brought.

And talking about local coaches; I have nothing against them but we all know their demons. They basically lack that assertive control to hold off that corrupt demon that comes out to haunt them. No matter their capabilities, they always fail that hurdle. They lack that basic management skill to maintain the calmness success needs or brings. Success is always a momentum to be sustained and maintained ,it never lives in the moment.
This totally has nothing to do with race or country but logic and all probability says so, time and again. Case in point, Keshi’s fall after 2013 success. Siasia’s failure to qualify for the Afcon. And the self destruct of Oliseh in his short term in charge of the Eagles.

We should be wise enough to be careful for what we wish for.
All we need right now is to maintain what we have right now. Super Eagles can only get better.
When the time comes and we don’t, we take action.
    But now isn’t that time.

  • Omo9ja 4 years ago

Rohr’s achievement so far with the Eagles is a third place finish at last year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and qualification to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

“He might do better than what he has done but I think, he will do a good job.”

Hmm, Mr. Utaka, are you backing coach Rohr in a good way or in a wrong way?

Let’s face the truth here Mr. Utaka.

If you can still remember during the Afcon 2004 in Tunisia when Celestine Babayaro, Yakubu and Agali was sent home because of their misconduct. None of us thought Nigeria would win something in that tournament but in the end you and your teammates made Nigerians proud.

Who was the coach during the time I’m talking about? Coach Christian Chukwu.

Now tell me, can we compare the team that played in 2004 Afcon to the team current one?

Without the best three players of the team then, Super Eagles won something in that tournament.

We witnessed good football and entertaining games during your time and you guys made Eagles Super then.

Why can’t you advise NFF to include more ex players to the Super Eagles stuff so that we can have a indomitable squad?

Not that Nigerians doesn’t appreciate ÓGA Rohr but he can’t give us what we are demanding from him. He need to do more.

This is the reason why we are asking NFF to select the best candidates from our ex players to help ÓGA Rohr.

We have so many ex players that NFF can choose from to represent us and I’m pretty sure if given all the support, they will delivered.

Since coach Rohr fans have agreed that the gaffer need help, NFF shouldn’t hesitate to have the best candidates from our ex players to represent us in both in Africa and at global level.

We want to win more trophies every where we
go and not just a good team that can’t rule in Africa and not even talking of at the world stage.

If ÓGA Rohr think he can’t continue with the new contract, we have a better replacement for him.

We have reaching a stage in Africa that we have to use our own products.

For example, Covid-19. In Western world , they have no solution to the virus but in Africa yes we have the solution but we don’t believe in ourselves.

Charity begins at home . ÓyÓ state governor used black seeds ⚫ oil and ginger to cure the Virus but we didn’t believe in that and we are waiting for Oyinbo Vaccine.

Other African countries such as Madagascar and Ghana have detected another medications to cure the COVID-19 but Oyinbo in Western world have turned it down. They said they didn’t believe in it.

It is high time we come together to strategize a new plan before the next Afcon and World cup.

Hmm. Section 419 came to my mind when I’m written ✍ this comment. It says, “together we stand, divided we fall”.

That is to say, we are all Nigerians and we should use among ourselves to choose the right and best candidates to represent our nation.

Hmm, what do I know . My dear Mr. Utaka, let’s join hands ✋ together to make Nigeria and Africa great. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

Rohr’s achievement so far with the Eagles is a third place finish at last year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and qualification to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

“He might do better than what he has done but I think, he will do a good job.”
