Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has described Ifeanyi Ndukwe as a big talent who wants to learn.
Recall that Ndukwe can’t play competitive matches for Liverpool this year because he failed to reach the points required for a UK work permit, meaning he must head out on loan.

In a chat with the club’s website, the Dutch international stated that Ndukwe must get better, learn wherever he ends up, and be ready to return and stay at Liverpool.
“Obviously I saw the games in pre-season in America,” Van Dijk said. “He’s a big talent, big guy and he wants to learn and I had a brief conversation with him, especially in the last couple of days.
“For him it is just progressing. I know he has to go on loan I think so let’s see where he ends up. Yeah (it’s a shame he has to move on loan).
“I don’t know exactly what the rules are but the matter of fact is that he has to go on loan and wherever he goes, he needs to learn, get better and be ready when he comes back to hopefully stay there.”

Post-Brexit rules prevent Ndukwe from registering for competitive games in the UK because he missed the required Governing Body Endorsement points target.
He is only permitted to play in friendlies for Liverpool.
Meanwhile, strong interest and offers have emerged from clubs across Germany, Portugal, and Denmark as Liverpool look to secure a developmental loan before the transfer window closes.
