Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has expressed optimism that Brazil will win the 2026 World Cup.
Vinicius’ comments underline the confidence running through the Brazilian camp as they prepare for the global showpiece.
With a squad blending established stars and emerging talent, expectations are once again high for a nation chasing a record-extending sixth title.

However, in a chat with Ibai Llanos on his YouTube channel, Vinicius stated that Carlo Ancelotti can help guide them to a sixth World Cup.
“I’ve won many things, but I want to keep winning. We haven’t won a season, and that’s very difficult for us. This year, I hope to win our sixth star with Brazil.
“He (Ancelotti) has changed the face of the team. We play better, we are happier and more relaxed. For me, his arrival is the best thing that has happened. He could be my grandfather.
“Whenever he calls me, he tells me we’re going to win the World Cup. He’s already speaking Portuguese; he’s learning it very quickly.”
