WAFCON 2022: Super Falcons Not Better Than My Team –Cameroon Coach, Zabo

Cameroon head coach Gabriel Zabo has said his team were Super Falcons’ equals despite their 1-0 defeat

Zabo stated that his team gave a good fight in the game, but the Super Falcons’ experienced helped them prevail.

“The game was won on fine details. They were not stronger than us, but they used the experience they have in the big competitions,”Zabo was quoted by CAFonline.

“And in this game, when it comes to utilizing their experience, they are unbeatable.”

The coach refused to blame refereeing decisions on the loss, but instead turned his attention to the FIFA World Cup match Cameroon will play on Sunday against Botswana.

“It’s not all over, we still have a chance to qualify for the World Cup this Sunday. My players showed by their level of play tonight that they were happy to be globalists,” said Zabo.

I can see why cameroon lost. with a coach that just talk more than accept tactical deficiency. i mean i watched that match and all the coach could come up with is ” super falcon is not better than my team” I mean this is just nonsense talk

Falcons have the most talented set of players in this tournament. We all know why these coaches have the guts to talks, with an excellent coach our girls will be bamboozing all of you including that CAF team of South Africa. No be una fault na. Not calling for the head of our coach because a team like falcons can manage anything as coach and still win Awcon.

No mind this coach yeye Cameroonian coach. Leave am make him dey yarn nonsense. I no blame am! Na rain wey fall make goat and fowl dey the samd shelter. Like say we get solid coach, na basket them for use carry goals go back to Yaunde. See him head like globe!

If Botswana defend well they can beat your team arrogant coach.

    • It’s unfortunate that the Cameroonian coach failed to accept defeat from the super falcons.

Tactically, the falcons did better ,we were completely in charge of that game so I don’t know where the coach got the phrase the Falcons are not better than his team . This coach should better have a rethink.

Bad belly. No sportsmanship. The Indomitable Lions adopted a brutal, physical soccer philosophy. Same approach has been copied by their females. The SFs are like the fox that will always outwits the brainless brutes.

Yea, your team is better, but was crushed by our darling ladies.

Next chapter will be same. They’ll achieve the feat with less sweat.

    Bastard coach.

Make una no mind am. See as him keep head like the ball wey him hold for hand. As the head dey shapeless so, nothing dey inside!. Oloshi!

Nigeria knows the game very well both their men and women and they don’t make noise. Cameron should go back to the drawing board and see where they got it wrong. But Nigeria beat them enough that they supposed to fear Nigeria

The coach just stated the obvious. It was a 50-50 game which could have gone either way. We were lucky to have escaped with that victory. I wish Cameroun well in the playoffs as they deserve to be at the world cup.

It was not a 50/50 game let’s be sincere, we dominated them even the stats speak for itself. Our goalkeeper made only one good save was largely at ease. We were clearly better. We made them look ordinary. If you say 60:40 game, I will agree but not 50/50. That is not to say they are not a good team but we were better.

    • Oga u no watch the game, go sit down. Go and watch highlights and re- comment here.

  • Story for the gods…You cannot but accept the defeat, History has been made so far! Not a new thing winning Cameroonians…Falcons the giant of Africa

What Cameroon have going for them is their robust physical play and their aggression. They win most of the 50-50 balls, tackle very hard, and are very strong physically. I also like their stamina. They were all over us, covering every blade of grass. At a point, I was like DEM NO DEY TIRE?
Their big weak point is their attack. The attacking moves often break down in the final third. They struggle to create chances. They do have a good striker in Abam, but they don’t give her enough service.
If they play Botswana the same way they played us, then I feel they will prevail. But Botswana could do some damage if they are allowed the space to operate.

  • The rest of Africa has almost caught up with Falcons and next tournament might
    Be the breaker.

Morroco has a lot of French – Morroccoan nationality so dem sabi.

It could easily end in a draw and win via penalties  and penalties is a game of chance

  • If they are not careful Botswana will beat them out of the world up qualification. Make he dey talk like baby.
