The Copper Queens of Zambia will arrive Algeria on Monday (today) for their final preparations ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The team have spent the last two weeks in a training camp in Lusaka, fine-tuning their preparations for the tournament.
Assistant coach Charles Haalubono has overseen the sessions, putting the players through intensive drills during the camp.
Head coach Nora Elizabeth Häuptle is expected to join the team in Algeria.

The Copper Queens will round off their preparations with two international friendlies against Algeria before travelling to Morocco on a chartered flight for the tournament.
The two friendly games against Algeria will be played on July 19th and 22nd July.
Zambia have been drawn in Group C alongside defending champions Nigeria, regional rivals Malawi, and Egypt.
The Copper Queens will face Egypt in their opening at the Al Madina Stadium, Rabat on Tuesday, 28 July.
