Defending champions Nigeria’s Super Falcons will proudly wear a new jersey featuring 10 stars at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations symbolising their unparalleled dominance in African women’s football.
Each star represents one of the Super Falcons’ record 10 WAFCON titles, making them the most successful team in the history of the competition, and the first African national team—male or female—to wear a 10-star jersey in recognition of continental triumphs.
The Super Falcons debuted the iconic jersey in Thursday night’s 2-1 friendly victory over Tanzania’s Twiga Stars in Casablanca, offering fans a first glimpse of the kit ahead of the tournament.

Justine Madugu’s side will be aiming to extend their remarkable legacy by claiming a record 11th WAFCON crown in Morocco.
The tournament gets underway on Sunday, with 16 teams competing for continental glory and qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
Nigeria will begin the defence of their title against tournament debutants Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat on Tuesday.
The Super Falcons will also face Zambia and Egypt in Group C as they seek another successful campaign on the continental stage.
