Former Nigerian international Dosu Joseph has lauded the achievement of the Flying Eagles at the just concluded WAFU B Championship in Lome, Togo.
Wonder kid Kparobo Arierhi, who scored the winning goal against Cote d’Ivoire in the semi-final, put Nigeria ahead, scoring two goals to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead.
The Ghanaians, however, fought back to reduce the tally, but the Flying Eagles were able to hold onto the slim lead till the end of the encounter.

Speaking with Completesports.com, the Atalanta Olympic gold medalist stated that the Flying Eagles have made the nation proud with their victory.
“I am delighted with the Flying Eagles impressive performance at the WAFU B Championship, where they defeated Ghana in the final to lift the trophy.
“This is just one step that will help shape the career of many of the players in future. I am proud of what they have achieved and hope they keep their heads cool.”
