Flying Eagles duo Alfred Odinaka and Abdulmuiz Adeleke have been named in the Group Stage Best XI at the ongoing WAFU B U-20 Championship, reports Completesports.com.
The tournament’s Technical Study Group (TSG) unveiled the selection after the conclusion of the group stage on Sunday, rewarding the competition’s standout performers.
Odinaka earned a place in the four-man defence after delivering a series of assured performances for the defending champions.

Adeleke, meanwhile, was rewarded for his outstanding displays in attack. The prolific forward has scored four goals in three appearances, making him one of the tournament’s leading scorers.
The striker opened his account with a brace in Nigeria’s thrilling 4-2 victory over Ghana’s Black Satellites before adding another two goals in the Flying Eagles’ emphatic 3-0 win against Togo’s Sparrow Hawks.
Burkina Faso and hosts Côte d’Ivoire dominate the Team of the Group Stage with three players each, while Niger, Ghana and Togo have one representative apiece.
Despite finishing second in Group B following Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Burkina Faso, Nigeria progressed to the semi-finals, where they will take on hosts Côte d’Ivoire on Wednesday.
