Wasps have raided relegated Newcastle Falcons to offer winger Zach Kibirige a route back to the Premiership next season. The Middlesbrough-born 24-year-old, who has represented England at Under-20 level, has spent his entire career with the Falcons having joined them as a 12-year-old.

Kibirige made his debut as a 17-year-old and then penned a first professional deal at Kingston Park a year later. However, their relegation this past season has paved the way for Wasps to swoop to take Kibirige to the Ricoh Arena with director of rugby Dai Young delighted to make him his 11th summer signing.
He told the club’s website: “Zach has lightning speed and power and has proven himself at the top level so I have no doubt he will add some real firepower to our flanks.”
