Watford Linked With Brazilian Duo

Watford have successfully recruited from Brazil in the past and they could be lining up two more players to bring in during the summer. The Hornets signed Richarlison from Brazilian club Fluminense during the summer of 2017 for a reported £11.2million before going on to sell him to Everton for over three times that amount just 12 months later.

That success appears to have increased Watford ‘s appetite to conduct more business in Brazil and one player that they are reportedly keeping tabs on is Corinthians forward Gustavo.

The 24-year-old has not featured too much for Corinthians, but he has just concluded a successful loan spell with Brazilian second division club Fortaleza, averaging a goal every other game from his 28 appearances.
However, Gustavo is not the only Brazilian forward believed to be on Watford’s radar, as they are also reportedly showing an interest in Flamengo teenager Lincoln.

The Brazil Under-20 international is yet to score for Flamengo, but he is highly-rated in his homeland, although he is valued at around £30million, which is likely to be more than Watford are willing to pay for such an unproven talent.
