Everton boss Marco Silva knows how important it is for his side to return to winning ways when they visit Cardiff in the Premier League on Tuesday.
The Toffees have lost five of their last six matches across all competitions, including each of their last three in the top flight and there appears to be growing unrest amongst the supporters at Goodison Park.

With Everton sitting in the bottom half of the standings, Silva knows his side need to return to winning ways against Cardiff, although he is not expecting an easy ride against Neil Warnock’s relegation-threatened Bluebirds.
“It’s a really important game. We must change our last results and it’s a good opportunity for us. It will be a tough match,” Silva told reporters.
The trip to the Cardiff City Stadium will be Everton’s first match since their 1-0 defeat at Watford on February 9 and Silva believes the squad have benefited from the extended break.
“We’ve had some rest and in the last few days we’ve had time to work on some things with our players,” Silva added.
“It was a good moment to settle again and prepare for tomorrow’s match.” Everton have won their last two matches against Cardiff, including a 1-0 victory when the two teams met at Goodison Park in November, with Gylfi Sigurdsson scoring the decisive goal.
