Watford manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed Nigerian duo William Troost-Ekong and Samuel Kalu are not available for selection in Saturday’s (today) Premier League clash against Brentford.
Troost-Ekong is yet to make an appearance for the Hornets since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations in January.
The centre-back has also struggled with injuries since Hodgson took charge of the team.
The 28-year-old has made 16 league appearances for the London club tbis season.

Kalu, who linked up with Watford from Ligue 1 club Girondis Bordeaux in January has struggled to stay fit since his arrival.
The 24-year-old has made just two substitute appearances for the club.
“Samuel Kalu, who was with us last time, has got an ankle injury,” Hodsgon told a press conference.
“Troost-Ekong is suffering from a slight hamstring strain. We don’t think it’s major but too early to risk him in this game.”
Watford, who have won two of their last 14 Premier League games occupy 19th position on the Premier League table.
