Why Arsenal Are Favourites For EPL Title This Season —Neville

Legendary Manchester United defender Gary Neville has backed Arsenal to win the 2023/24 Premier League title.

Arsenal have not tasted defeat this season after five games played (four wins and one draw).

Last season, the Gunners went close to securing a first league title since 2004 but was beaten to it by Manchester City.

However, Arsenal edged City on penalties in the FA Community Shield.

Up next for Mikel Arteta’s men is the North London derby with Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates on Sunday.

Spurs, like Arsenal have not lost a game in the league this season, also recording four wins and one draw.

Speaking ahead of the derby on Sky Sports, Neville praised Arteta for what he has been able to achieve with the team.

“I was questioning whether Mikel Arteta could take this team where he wants to. Last season he proved everyone wrong. there is a good feeling at Tottenham again, Postecoglou has brought that feel-good mood back to the club.

“But I have Arsenal as title winners this season, it’s ambitious but they’ve stopped conceding goals. Raya coming in is a masterstroke from Arteta, that shows he has that brutal decision-making to him.”
