Wigan Warriors have agreed deals to sign Jake Bibby from Salford and Mitch Clark from Castleford from next season. Adrian Lam’s side have underachieved so far this campaign and are already looking to the future with moves to bolsters their ranks.
Bibby has had an excellent start to the season with Salford, the 22-year-old centre scoring seven tires in 11 games for Ian Watson’s men. Prop Clark only joined the Tigers from Hull KR last year and has crossed over three times in 23 games for Daryl Powell’s men.
Both will join for the start of the 2020 season with the length of each player’s contracts not being disclosed. Wigan were busy on Thursday as they have also announced that winger Joe Burgess, prop Tony Clubb, and centre Chris Hankinson have signed new deals.
Burgess, who re-joined the club from Sydney Roosters in 2017 has signed a new deal until the end of 2020. Clubb, formerly of London Broncos, has signed a two-year extension until 2021, while Hankinson, like Burgess, will remain at the DW Stadium until the end of 2020.
