Deontay Wilder is open to a WWE move and “jumping off a ladder” or “doing a flying elbow” following Tyson Fury’s wrestling debut.
The Gypsy King is set to rematch WBC king Wilder in February after the pair fought to a split-decision draw in Los Angeles last year.
After double Las Vegas wins in 2019 Fury, 31, swapped the boxing gloves for wrestling boots making his WWE debut against Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia last month.
And ahead of his next WBC title defence, against Luis Ortiz next weekend, The Bronze Bomber admitted he too would be open to enhancing his profile with a wrestling switch.
Wilder told PBC: “We thought about that years ago for marketing purposes, promotion and stuff like that.
“I’m a man that believes don’t burn no bridges.
“If that opportunity comes about I could see myself jumping off a ladder, doing a flying elbow or something like that.
“I’ve got the character to be able to perform in that environment, it’d be something fun, I wouldn’t turn it down.”
