Reports in Italy are linking Wolves with a swoop for Lyon’s versatile midfielder Lucas Tousart but Inter are also said to be keen. The 22-year-old is currently on duty with the France Under-21 side and played his part as Les Bleus beat England 2-1 on Tuesday in Cesena.

He has completed three full seasons for Lyon, making 125 appearance and scoring four goals but it is his defensive qualities that have made clubs sit up and take note. Able to play as a defensive midfielder or in a more traditional central role, the former Valenciennes ace is said to be on Inter’s radar, with director of football Piero Ausilio in attendance to watch the victory over England.
Calciomercato are reporting that Nuno Espirito Santo is a big fan and wants to sign Tousart before the start of next season but it is not known if the player is keen to move to England. Previously linked with Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton, the youngster is under contract at Groupama Stadium until the summer of 2023 and, in the current climate, would certainly command a sizeable fee.
