Ghana’s most famous witch doctor Nana Kwaku Bonsam has said he will put curse on England hotshot Harry Kane in a bid to boost the African nation’s chances in their World Cup clash, Daily Star reports.
The two countries face each other on Tuesday and Nana – whose name translates literally as “Devil of Wednesday” – has previous form for using his magic to give Ghana an edge.
He boasted that he caused Cristiano Ronaldo a knee injury during the 2014 World Cup – and now he is ready to try and nobble goal machine Harry too.
Nana said: “I am working on Harry Kane. I have shown what I am capable of before so I know what work I must do to stop him. I am very famous for my predictions.
“I am not wishing him serious injury. It will be just enough to stop him against my country. I will do my work so that it can help Ghana.”
Nana said his powers come from the Kofi Oo Kofi shrine and bills himself as ‘Africa’s only Authentic Man’ – the talents and skills he offers includes spiritual healing, protection, guidance and rituals.

He explained that he conjured a special powder from his gods, mixed with several leaves and concoctions which he placed around an image and caricature of the former Manchester United ace.
Nana said at the time: “I know what Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury is about, I’m working on him. I am very serious about it.
“Last week, I went around looking for four dogs and I got them to be used in manufacturing a special spirit called Kahwiri Kapam.
“I said it four months ago that I will work on Cristiano Ronaldo seriously and rule him out of the World up or at least prevent him from playing against Ghana and the best thing I can do is to keep him out though injury.
“This injury can never be cured by any medic, they can never see what is causing the injury because it is spiritual. Today, it is his knee, tomorrow it is his thigh, next day it is something else.”

Unfortunately for Banku, Kane is not the only threat they are facing.
The English team screams danger. Perhaps only the goalie Pigford is not a goal threat.
Every other player on the pitch can score goals and assist goals.
The forwards are extremely lethal. Gordon, Saka, Madueke, Rashford, Watkins, Toney. And the kingpin Kane. This is a ruthless, highly competent strike force.
How will Banku approach this game? If they play low block, and “allow the opponent to come at them”, as coach Queiroz claimed was his strategy against Panama, Banku may find themselves buried under an avalanche of goals.
If they throw caution to the wind and attack, they leave spaces behind for the lethal English strike force to exploit. Disaster.
Banku have their work cut out from a tactical perspective. Their goal in this game has to be damage limitation. Keep the score line to a minimum. Avoid a blowout that can endanger qualification hopes to the next round.
One thing is sure, the English refusing to shake Partey’s hand will be the least of their problems on match day.

On paper Ghana is the weaker of the two.But,hey!This is football.Who believes Cape Verde would come out unscathed against big oppositions,the likes of former champions,Uruguay and Spain.
It takes just a coaches tactical awareness and preparation which are often the ultimate difference-makers when an underdog faces a giant.
By exploiting specific weaknesses and executing a highly disciplined game plan,even a heavily outmatched squad can level the playing field on match day.
