Zinedine Zidane has stressed the importance of adding attacking options to his Real Madrid squad this summer. Zidane returned for his second stint in charge of Los Blancos in March after a poor start to the term under Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari.

The Frenchman has overseen an improvement in performances but has stressed the need to bolster his squad over the summer. Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure last summer has left them lacking serious firepower and reports claim they are interested in the likes of Neymar and Eden Hazard.
Zidane’s recent comments have done little to play down those claims after revealing he wants to strengthen in the forward line. “I have a clear idea what I want to do,” Zidane said. “The profiles and everything. I do not have every name, but I have clear idea what I want to achieve next year and we are working on it. “Our intention is to have more strength in attack.”
