There will be a national day of prayer and fasting in Ghana for the Black Stars ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
This was revealed in the Black Stars’ verified Twitter handle.
The prayer and fasting is part of events lined up for the country’s pre-World Cup activities.
Muslims in Ghana will hold their prayer and fasting today, Friday 21 October while Christians will hold theirs on Sunday, 23rd October.
The Black Stars will be appearing in their fourth World Cup since debuting in Germany 2006.

To get to this year’s edition the Black Stars edged Super Eagles of Nigeria in the play-offs in March. After a goalless first leg, the return leg in Abuja ended 1-1.
The coach Otto Addo-led side are in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay and will open their campaign with the 2016 European champions.

Lol!, If dem like Make dem hold National year of Prayer for WC. They will still chop Wotowoto at the hands of Suarez, Darwin Nunez, Frederico Valverde (Uruguay), Son Hung Min (South Korea) and Of Course the GOAT CR7, Bruno Fernandez, Bernado Silva and co (Portugal).
I think Ghana vs Portugal is 0-5; Ghana vs Uruguag is 0-4, Ghana vs South Korea 0-3 ; so Ghana will grab 12 goals at it’s goalkeeper, there are no goals for them , cause elephantine strikers of Black Stars.
Africans are so lazy and ineffective, so they leave everything to prayers as if God belongs to them alone. This is football; hardwork, talent and proper planning deliver the results. God will never grant you victory for laziness and planlessness and punish those who have worked hard with defeat because you devoted a full day to meaningless Prayers. Oh my Africa!
