Former Nigeria international Ifeanyi Udeze has said head coach Jose Peseiro still has a lot of problems to solve in the Super Eagles.
The Eagles bounced back from their first leg shock defeat to Guinea-Bissau by winning the return leg 1-0 on Monday in Group A of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
Nantes forward Moses Simon’s 30th minute goal from the penalty spot saw the Eagles now on nine points reclaim top spot.
But reacting to the win against Guinea-Bissau, Udeze noted that Peseiro still has his work cut out in the team.
He said on Brila FM Sports Machine on Tuesday :“Jose Peseiro said we created a lot opportunities but I didn’t see the opportunities the thing is we are happy we won the game but Peseiro must find solutions to the problems in the team so that the players will start to play good football and also create chances.
“Whoever told Peseiro that the Eagles created chances for me I didn’t see the chances.“

Players desperate to score whereas all they need to do was pass to a better or well placed teammate.Had they done that,we would have had a much improved scoreline
Pesiero must do many things to overhaul Super Eagles team, fristly he must play with strong and ferocious in defensive midfield and backs that means he must recall strong and dedicated and committment defensive and back players with tight tactics; secondly he must play on depth so that playmakers like Iwobi,Olise if he puts allegiance for Super Eagles, Joe Aribo and so on , they play through balls for Osimhen or Moffi to score goals; thirdly, he must inact a code of conducts which obligate any recalled players to perform with strongly with dedication and committment who can die for white and green jersy, if any recalled player does not obligate with this code of conducts he must be excluded from SE for length of time after long time he can return back for SE with a conditions that he must reclaim his soul and committment; fourthly, he must change SE match’s pitch from Mashood Abiola stadium to Godwill Akpobio the World class stadium which SE play like they play at Europe.
Peseiro says that Bissau pitch was better than Abuja’s!! We all saw it Nigeria is a shsmeless country!!
