Good news.. they are all available in Nigeria except for the late call up in the insurance goalkeeper..

I love this seriousness and hunger..

I see no reason why Lesotho will not suffer come Thursday..

Wishing the team all the best!

I don’t have any challenge with the player but one of the reason I can’t put my 1k on SE is because of Uzoho. Ordinary Back pass can score him.

      • Greenturf 7 months ago

Uzoho isn’t that bad you should assess his performances for the duration of the game rather than a single slip-up or blunder.I’m not making excuses for him but the Uzoho under Rohr was phenomenal,he couldn’t just be egregious overnight.
I hope he could secure a club where he will be the first choice, with regular playing time i see a future world class in Uzoho.Until then more goalkeepers should be invited to make that position competitive.

Bro, with all due respect, Uzoho isn’t Nigeria standard at all, if you want to believe me, apart from Ghana WCQ error, kindly take your time to watch Nigeria vs England friendly enroute the world cup in 2018. We have dozens of fantastic goal keepers that are far better than Uzoho, the question is why is he not leaving his present club? Why is bid not coming after leaving Deportivo? It’s high time we forgot about this guy that we start getting the desired result.

        • Loll my guy u said future kinni? At what age exactly? That guy bone is stiff and rigid, know reflexes and you and I know that guy would be approaching menopause already as a lady, plus he has never been anywhere near phenomenal.

Haha! He’s not as bad as they are making him look ..Mind you @Femi goalkeepers do have longevity…He has the backing of the gaffer and there’s a reason to that,Peseiro isn’t biased far from it,I think he saw qualities in Uzoho that gives him confidence, remember we are talking of someone who was on the bench of Real Madrid rubbing heads with Mourinho in his career as a coach I’m sure he has worked with so many goalkeepers to know a good one even from a distance.

A single slip against Saudi Arabia another single slip against the other team, would lead to a defeat at AFCON by a single slip where that is enough to eliminate any team.

Good point, one thing you don’t realise is that,Uzoho age is questionable, that’s y must clubs in Europe are scared of signing him.No club in Europe will take a risk to sign a player like that. I wish him all the best in his career!

  • My greatest worry for this team is akpere Uzoho basket in goal. I would prefer the newly invited goalkeeper – Amas Obasogie to man the post for both matches.

    • Greenturf 7 months ago

Unfortunately, that won’t happen.Uzoho was betweeen the sticks for the super eagles in the last fifa windows,he kept the two matches and was in goal for the entirety of the games. Those games was used as preparation for the qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe repectively.
Players that featured prominently in the friendlies are expected to form the bulk of the starting eleven,Uzoho is one of them, should be in goal on thursday and hopefully,Sunday.

This ones will struggle to win the match. Hope lesotho are smart to know what to do

I doubt if the super eagles can qualify for this coming world cup,as long as Uzoho remain our number 1 goal keeper.Until Paseiro loss he’s job before he’ll realise he made a big mistake for believing in Uzoho.
