Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has hailed the team’s display in the 1-0 win against seven-time champions Egypt on Tuesday, reports Completesports.com.
The West Africans totally dominated the game and scored the winning goal through Kelechi Iheanacho in the 30th minute.
Aina, who was in action for 90 minutes against Carlos Queiroz’s men has however challenged his teammates to maintain the same level of performance in subsequent games in the competition.

“It’s really great for us, to start the tournament this way, with a win against Egypt, “Aina said aftrr the game.
“To play against Egypt, who are a top side with good players and win our first game in the tournament is really massive.
“Now we have to take it game by game. Our focus is now on the next game against Sudan. Hopefully we will show the same concentration and determination against them.”
The Super Eagles will take on Sudan in their next game on Saturday at the Stade Roumde Adija, Garoua.
