World record holder Tobi Amusan zoomed into final of the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2026 African Senior Athletics Championship on Tuesday, Completesports.com reports.
Amusan, who is gunning for her third African title won her heat in a season’s best time of 12.82s.
The 29-year-old qualified as the fastest overall in the two heats.

Team Nigeria’s Janet Sunday, who is making her debut in the competition finished second in her heat.
The heat was won by Ghanaian Record holder Evonne Britton.
The final of the event will hold at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
