The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has emerged champions of the inaugural edition of the Lagos Entertainment Association Games and Awards (LEAGA) 2026.
At the closing ceremony which took place on Saturday, September 26 at the Yabatech Sport Centre, AGN was announced as the champions after finishing top in the final medal table with five gold and three silver medals.
Star/MITV Plus placed second with four gold, four silver and five bronze medals.
In third position was Verdant Zeal who secured four gold and three bronze medals and Pulse NG got three gold, six silver and one bronze to place fourth.
The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) completes the top five after landing two gold and one silver.
Other participants who made it to the medal table include Guild of Nigerian Dancers (GOND) with one gold, one silver, one bronze, Deejays Association of Nigeria (DJAN) with one silver and one bronze, Gospel Musicians Association of Nigeria (GOMAN) who clinched three bronze and Q Dance had one bronze.
The other participants who did not win any medal were BRILA Media, Fuji Musician Association of Nigeria (FUMAN), NTDA, Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Citizens Voice and National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP).
On the final day of the five-day tournament, medals were presented to participants by dignitaries among which include LEAGA Amazon and popular nollywood actor Ronnie Dikko Kila and Chairman of Studio 18 Hub and organiser of Olufemi Oladeinde.
Also, the Guild of Dancers in Nigeria, Lagos Chapter, were on hand to thrill the spectators.
Twelve sports were competed for by 15 participants. The sports, were football (male and female), basketball, table tennis, tennis, Ludo, Draughts, arm wrestling and ayo olopon, sack race, 100 metres (male and female), 200 metres (male and female), 4×100 metres (mixed), tug of war, snooker and scrabble.
The inaugural edition of LEAGA 2026 took place at three different venues in Lagos – Yabatech Sports Centre (Yaba), Rowe Park (Yaba) and Studio 18 Hub (Gbagada).
