Montpellier striker Akor Adams has bared his mind on the possibility of featuring at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.
Adams has been impressive since joining Montpellier from Norwegian club Lillestrom in the summer.
The former Flying Eagles striker has scored seven goals in nine league appearances.
His performance has seen him win the Montpellier Player of the Month for October.
He made the Ligue 1 Team of the Month also for last month.

The 23-year-old’s recent display has led to reports of a possible call-up for the 2023 AFCON.
Speaking ahead of Montpellier’s trip to Paris Saint-Germain, Adams said it is the dream of every player to represent his national team.
“I think the national team is the dream of every boy who grew up in his country and for me it’s also the same,” he said in a video published on Montpellier’s X handle.
“The AFCON is two months away but right now the games in Montpellier are my biggest focus, that would come when it comes and then we would see.”
Montpellier are 11th in the league table on 11 points after nine games.
Adams was a member of the Flying Eagles squad at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The team reached the round of 16 before losing 2-1 to Senegal.
