“Egypt has the best player in the world (Mohamed Salah),” Sayed told Mega FM.

“On paper, the Egyptian national team is better than Nigeria and is the closest to winning, but football is full of surprises.

“I definitely hope that Egypt win.”

Sayed then spoke about their game against Guinea-Bissau, saying they’re familiar with their opponent’s style of play.

“We know the Guinea-Bissau national team very well. We met twice in the [World Cup] qualifiers a month ago. We are building a strong generation for the future and all the players will participate in their first major international tournament,” he explained.

“The draw served us well, as our match against Egypt will be the last one in the group stage.”

  • But how come people are saying Egypt will win cause if it was up to me the worse that could happen is a draw. Even on the FIFA rankings we are 36 while Egypt are 45 so how are the odds against us. However this is football any thing can happen
