Democratic Republic of Congo midfielder Noah Sadiki has expressed delight representing his country at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Sunderland star, who has become an integral part of the squad, stated this in an interview with Cafonline ahead of today’s round of 16 clash against Algeria.
The 21-year-old Brussels-born midfielder also noted that he has been watching the DR Congo since his childhood.
“I don’t force anyone to follow the same path. I made the decision with a clear conscience.

“Today, many young players want to help their countries, like Ibrahim Mbaye with Senegal or Brahim Díaz with Morocco.
“Being here is both a pride and a pleasure. When I was a child, I watched almost every DR Congo match.
“Family has always been at the centre of my journey. My father guides me, my mother encourages me. When I play, I think about them and about everyone who didn’t get the opportunities I had. I want to give them the chance to dream.”
