Aguero Accuses Man City Teammates Of Not Passing Ball To Him

Sergio Aguero has accused his Manchester City teammates of deliberately not passing to him during Tuesday’s Champions League tie against Monchengladbach.

Aguero has played little part in the quest for a historic quadruple, however, owing to a run of injuries and contracting Covid-19.

Last weekend he was handed a rare start against Fulham and marked it with his first Premier League goal in 14 months, but was made to settle for a place on the bench last night.

The 32-year-old was brought on in place of Bernardo Silva, but his 15-minute cameo only led to frustration.

According to ESPN, he passed comment to a City coach, which was translated from Spanish as: “They don’t pass me the ball.”

After close to 10 years with the club, Aguero’s future at the Etihad Stadium has yet to be resolved – with his current deal running out at the end of the season.

In winning four Premier League titles, the striker has also become the record goalscorer at City, with 181 of those enough to sit him fourth in the division’s all-time charts, too.

However, Aguero has featured just 14 times in all competitions this season, scoring three goals across those outings.

These things happen but very very annoying and condemnable, as its always done by certain gangs in a team to make a particular player look bad. You pass the balls to them just so the team can play and then run into good positions but they constantly refuse to give a pass whilst you are there. And everytime you fight to retrieve balls from opponents, they are first to ask for a pass.

  • The same issue I notice Osimen having in Napoli.

I believe that if Osimen is getting pass like Mesi and Ronaldo, the guy would have been bagging goals almost every weekend. You can all see his performance the last time he played for Nigeria.

You are kind of right, even I noticed this early in the season but then remember it’s been a while they played with a tall CF.. Also Their possession style game sometimes makes their CF look redundant (especially if it’s not a mobile one) as they like cutting from the wings and delivering crosses to the far post..
Osimhen still needs to develop chemistry with his fowards line plus he gonna get more passes if he proves himself to his mates, which I believe he will and believe me at that point am sure they gonna be looking for him at any moment..
Also have you noticed Ospina loves kicking it long to Osi unlike Meret that favors building up plays from the back
