Aina May Leave Torino As Club Shop For New Full-Backs

Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina’s days at Torino might be numbered with the Italian Serie A club planning to bring in some full-backs, according to reports.

Aina sometimes last week had admitted that Torino had a very rough season but said he was a relieved man after his club eventually survived going into relegation.

Throughout the 2019/20 season, Aina failed to find the back of the net in the Serie A, having registered only two assists in 32 appearances for Torino.

He scored one goal in 30 matches in the Italian top-flight during the 2018/19 season after linking up with the Maroons on loan from former club, Chelsea.

The Nigeria defender now has a new manager at Torino ahead of next season with Marco Giampaolo having already accepted to take over the reins from Moreno Longo.

Among the players that Torino are planning to sign is also Elseid Hysaj, a full-back owned by Napoli who could however leave the
Neapolitan side this summer window.

With Lorenzo De Silvestri at Torino, Aina’s immediate future hangs in the balance as Hysaj who can play both on the right and on the left is the first on the list.
