A big test awaits Nigeria international defender Semi Ajayi when he files out for West Brom against hosts Manchester City today (Tuesday) in a Premier League tie at the Etihad Stadium.
Ajayi will be gunning for his 12th Premier League start against the Cityzens having played all 90 minutes in 11 games for the Baggies since the start of the season.
The 27-year old Super Eagles centre-back has continued to be a regular feature for West Brom since helping the side to gain promotion to the Premier League. The defender had started 42 of his 43 Championship games clocking 3,782 minutes for the Baggies last season and scoring five goals en-route promotion.

However, Ajayi and West Brom continued to struggle in the topflight being rooted in the 19th position on the EPL table with six points after 12 games.
And having lost their last two games, the Baggies further face a difficult if not impossible task of getting any point against an under-performing Man City who currently sit in the 9th position with 19 points.
