Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he won’t declare Lionel Messi the greatest player ever.
The PSG star is being celebrated around the globe after leading Argentina to victory in the World Cup.
But Ancelotti, asked if the Barcelona legend is the greatest, said: “It is difficult to say.
“He is a great footballer. His career is spectacular but if he is the best in history I do not know because each era has had very important players.
“Saying he was the best in history is not going to come out of my mouth. I have enjoyed all the players and now I have a Ballon d’Or every day here (Karim Benzema).
“I have seen (Diego) Maradona and (Johan) Cruyff and I have enjoyed them”.

God of soccer Diego armando maradono, no player can be compared to him, tecknicaly, skills, power, pace,shots,passes, his right was as wicked as his left. Maradona has the combination of messi dribblings and curves shots, his shot power and accuracy is as powerfull as cristiano or ibrahinovic, he got football wisdom and creativity like zidane, pirlo, xavi, or iniesta etc he was a skillfull dazler like pele or jayjay, he was a bull like ronaldo delema or amokachi the bull, every other players are greats but no player have all these combinations, maradona was also very good with his head, and could score all types of Goals, free kicks of all kinds and angles. He scored goals directly from corner kicks, he scored my own greatest goal in football, i think it was in boka junior, when he volley from the center after just a touch ffrom kickoff. I think maradona can keep better than maduka and uzoho.
