Manchester United winger, Antony, is reportedly flying back to the United Kingdom as he sets out to speak to the police to prove his innocence over the assault allegations levelled against him by his former girlfriend, Gabriella Cavallin.
The Brazil forward has been out of the UK and absent from United duties while he deals with assault claims made by his ex.
The 23-year-old former Ajax player has been in his own country. But he is scheduled to return to British soil where he will meet with authorities in person.

Despite Antony’s denials, Greater Manchester Police and Sao Paulo Police have been looking into the allegations.
According to The Sun, as cited by The Mirror, Antony was seen at the Sao Paulo airport with luggage, a knapsack on his back, and a wash bag before boarding a flight to Spain and then to Manchester.
The day after Antony featured in Man United’s 2-1 win over Manchester City at Old Trafford in the Premier League on January 14, 2023, Cavallin claimed the player headbutted and attacked her in a hotel room. She alleges that she injured her head and that her breast implant was broken.
Since joining Man United for £88 million last summer from Dutch strongholds Ajax, Antony has featured in 48 games. During that period, he has scored eight goals and provided three assists. He fired blanks in the four games played so far in the current season.

Antony has missed the last four matches of Manchester United’s campaign in the 2023/2024 season due to his current travails. He was last in action when the Red Devils pipped Arsenal 3-1 in the Premier League at Old Trafford on September 3.
Erik ten Hag has subsequently left out the embattled winger out of his match-day squads as he led United to Premier League 1-3 home defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion and 1-0 win at Burnley, as well as 4-3 defeat at Bayern Munich in the Champions League and 3-0 home win against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, September 26 to advance to the Fourth Round of Carabao Cup.
This Saturday, September 30, the Red Devils will return to Premier League action at Old Trafford for the second of their two games in a week against Crystal Palace.
