A former member of the 8th Nigeria National Assembly, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Dino Melaye has seek God’s intervention for the removal of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
A 10-man Arsenal side were hammered 5-0 by Premier League champions Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday.
Prior to Saturday’s fixture, Arteta had overseen defeats to newly promoted Brentford and Chelsea.

Arsenal are now only the second team in Premier League history to lose their first three matches in a season and have a goal difference of minus nine.
Wolverhampton Wanderers were the first team during the 2003-04 season and they went on to finish bottom of the table.
The latest defeat has witnessed more calls for the removal of Arteta who replaced fellow Spaniard Unai Emery in 2020.
And Arsenal fan Melaye has joined in the call for Arteta to be sacked.
“Arsenal coach: God please chase him far from the team,” Melaye wrote on his Twitter handle.
Arsenal are bottom in the league table with no points and no goals scored after three games played.

Arsenal is a complete work in progress and they will need about another two years to stabilize. Changing Arteta changes nothing. That is how you clamored for the expulsion of wenger and where did that get you ?
Do you know how many years it took liverpool to get to where they are , even under Klopp. You guys are better be wise and be patient .

The problems with arsenal is not all about sacking arteta.You can sack him but without a fundamental shift in policy and focus, the situation will remain the same.
The higher ups at arsenal are greedy and are only interested in profits and are running the club strictly like a business and forgetting the sporting sides of things.Forgetting that the team have to be winning and playing attractive football to sustain the global brand.
Their focus is not a bad thing in itself but they need to strike a delicate balance between profit and sporting side .
To their credit, they moved to a new stadium without borrowing a dime.Maybe,they are still recovering from that, the reason thay cannot substantially invest in the squad.
They now want to sell Auba and Lacazet and am sure they will replace them with some acedamy players or some fringe players from other clubs and make huge profits.
