But according Todo Fichajes the Gunners are leading the way, having already entered negotations with the La Liga giants with the deal reported to be worth cost £34m.

Meanwhile, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has cleared up the future of Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka.
The Gunners former captain has been linked with a switch to AS Roma this summer.
The Italian outfit’s new boss, Jose, Mourinho, knows Xhaka well from his time managing rivals Tottenham in the Premier League.
Despite reports suggesting a deal was on the verge of completion last week, Arteta confirmed that Xhaka would now be staying in North London after Arsenal’s 2-1 friendly defeat to Chelsea.
“Granit is going to stay with us,” said the Gunners boss. “He is a key member of our squad.”
