Arsenal talks are now ‘advancing’ for a deal to sign Red Bull Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, according to Fabrizio Romano on Friday afternoon.
The Gunners have been looking to sign a new centre-forward this summer and are now closer to making a breakthrough following concrete talks last week.
According to Romano on X, talks between all three parties are progressing as Mikel Arteta looks to be closing in on strengthening his frontline ahead of next season.

While no agreement is reached yet or imminent this weekend, Romano words suggest an agreement remains on course for the Gunners to bring the Slovenia international to the Premier League.
Arsenal have also been linked with Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres with it suggested that it was a two-horse race between him and Sesko with Newcastle United unwilling to sell Arteta’s dream target, Alexander Isak.
While GIVEMESPORT previously reported that new sporting director Andrea Berta initially preferred a deal to bring in Gyokeres, it now appears as though they are more likely to land the 6 ft 5 Bundesliga striker instead.
