Chidozie Awaziem says the Super Eagles will do their best at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon reports Completesports.com.
The West Africans will look to win a fourth AFCON title when proceedings start in Cameroon next week.
The Super Eagles finished third at the last edition in Egypt losing to eventual champions Algeria in the semi-final.

The Alanyaspor of Turkey defender believes they can do better this time around.
“It has been a wonderful atmosphere in camp. Everyone is preparing with the few players in camp. Training sessions has been good,”Awaziem told the Super Eagles media.
“Everyone is giving their best, the coach is doing a good job. We are hoping to get more players in camp , so that we can begin preparation for the AFCON properly.
“It’s the new year and everyone is positive, we believe we can achieve something great this year.”

Such defeatist type of language is what Rhor taught them to say in the name of being humble. No fire of positivity.No boldness of courage. No consistency of forcefulness. Rhor’s approach to the players is simply romantic, still waters, take-it-easy kind of approach.
All these nonsense must stop. We need consisteny of force. We need fire. We need good pace. We need an unsatiable hunger for victory. A hot winning mentality. I just hope the new coach can infuse this new paradiagm shift for the Super Eagles.
Yes ooo, you said it all .Rohr taught them to be conscious in thier assessment of events , that can be inline to defeatist tendencies.Rohr was never optimistic in his football , he gives room for the opponent to dream , that was why CAR came here and beat us hands down. We need a coach that will instill the right believe in the players , the believe that they have the resources to defeat any team no matter what .The current Algerian team has that believe, Man City has that believe etc ..let see if Eguavoen will conjure up something, but to have such believe , you must have the right players and the right mental faculty !!
