USA’s Steph Curry recorded 24 points to help his country secure a comfortable 105-79 win against Serbia in the pre-Olympic game held on Wednesday, July 17, at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.

According to Basketnews, this is USA’s second victory after their 98-92 win over Australia on July 15.

The USA’s Centre of Nigerian descent, Bam Adebayo, scored 17 points, along with 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 18 minutes, and Anthony Edwards added 16 points for the winning side.

Anthony Davis recorded 6 blocks, coming close to his all-time personal best.

LeBron James added 11 points, while Joel Embiid had 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. Nigel Hayes-Davis played 3 minutes and went scoreless, while Kevin Durant supported his teammates from the bench.

Nikola Jokic racked up a double-double for Serbia with 16 points and 11 rebounds, but he dished out only 2 assists in 28 minutes of action. Aleksa Avramovic scored 14 points, Filip Petrusev 11 points, and Ognjen Dobric 10 points for the European team.

Vasilije Micic was held to 8 points on 2/8 FG, but Marko Guduric stood tall, amassing 8 points, 3 steals, and 3 assists.
