Bassey, Aribo, Balogun Get Very Good Ratings In Rangers’ 6-1 Win At Motherwell

Super Eagles trio Calvin Bassey, Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo all got very good ratings, following Rangers’ 6-1 win at Motherwell in Sunday’s Scottish Premiership.

The ratings was done by Rangers Review and was for every Rangers player.

Bassey registered his first assist in the league and his third in all competitions, as he set up Rangers’ equalizer scored by James Tavernier.

While Balogun and Aribo impressed before they were replaced.

And after the game, Balogun, Bassey and Aribo we’re all rated seven out of 10.

And commenting on their displays, Rangers Review wrote:“Balogun’s consistency has been hugely impressive in recent months – he would, however, have been disappointed to lose the header which led to Motherwell’s opener. That aside, his duels with Connor Shields were in the main successful.”

For Bassey: “With Borna Barisic currently sidelined, Bassey retained the left-back spot. Some early crosses were slightly overhit – his pick-out for Tavernier’s leveller however was bang on. He is improving as a one-on-one threat too but it was his game intelligence that made an impact second half. His overlap created space for Sakala’s goal, his drive saw Stephen O’Donnell dismissed.”

And for Aribo: “Moved up a line to play off the right and was able to isolate his trickery on Nathan McGinley to a successful degree. At one point, his combination with Davis allowed him a great chance which Liam Kelly saved. He was the visitors’ best player until Tavernier changed the game.”

  • Rohr please cap this young man already lets know he is safely on our side. I see him becoming a main stay and an integral part of the Super Eagles team in no time at all.
Collins and zaidu are both unpredictable in their perfomances but this guy can bring calmness to the left full back position in the team.

  • I wonder why he was not capped in the last match.

  • I want sanusi and basset as our left back not Collins I don’t like d guy style of play he offer notting going forward and someone shuold tell to stop calling sheu abdullah what is he doing in the list when ebuehi is not consider in the list
